Mini Maglite 2 AAA Cell 130 Lumen LED Conversion

New model  for the winter of 2020/21 is the TTS-2AAA, a high quality Philips LED bi-pin bulb designed to fit 2 AAA  Mini Maglite® torches. This upgrade is the brightest replacement LED we know of being produced for the 2 AAA Mini Maglite. This upgrade is a direct replacement for the original bulb, it includes a new polished solid metal reflector

Single mode option is full 130 lumen brightness every time or dual mode option has two power levels which are simply selected by twisting the Mini Maglite on/off and then on to give a choice between 130 or 39 lumens

Specification

• LED brightness is vastly higher than the equivalent incandescent bulb in the same power torch
• Utilises the premium performance 130 lumen 1 Watt Philips LED
• Single mode option - 130 lumen  or dual mode option 130 / 39 lumen
• The brightest LED bulb on the market for 2 AAA Mini Maglite
• Consistent brightness and colour regardless of battery condition
• Does not fade significantly when hot
• Electronic regulation for rock steady light output
• Never burns out - an incredible 50,000 hour life expectancy (6 years of constant use!)
• Shock-resistant, much more durable than the incandescent bulb
• Produces pure white light even when the batteries are low
• Longer battery life results from the circuit built into the unit which completely utilizes the power from the batteries, whilst maintaining constant light output.
• Extends runtime of batteries by a factor of 3 with approximately a 5 hour runtime (130 Lumen) or 15 hour (39 Lumen)
• Easy fitment, just a straight exchange for the original bulb
• Much better spill than with the original bulb
• The light produced will only dim near the end of the batteries' lifetime. It only gradually fades, not a sudden drop out of light
***Please note these upgrades are designed for use in the original Mini Maglite 2 AAA incandescent model with the bi-pin bulb, they do NOT fit the new Maglite Mag-LED 2 AAA LED models or the 1 AAA battery Solitaire.***
Special features:-

The LED bulb has polarized contacts , however if the contacts are connected in reverse the LED will not light but no damage will be done and the LED will work when the polarity is corrected (simply rotate it 180 degrees so the :LED bulb legs go in the opposite holes)
