LED bulbs to replace the vast majority of krypton and halogen bulbs used in traditional torches and headlamps. The threaded MES E10 LED fit bulbs are particularly popular in Petzl headlamps whilst the P13.5 bulbs (traditional torch krypton bulb shape) are often used in Maglite torches amongst others. The LED bulbs are available with low to high voltages / different colours / multi modes to suit most needs.
The polarity of most of the LED bulbs require a positive voltage supply to base and negative to side which is the usual torch set up, however we have do have some Non Polarity options which do not have polarised contacts at all (the direction of flow of the power will not matter with this type of LED bulb). The polarity of the voltage supply can normally be changed by reversing the batteries or wires to the torch bulb socket if needed.
